I really like the modern look of this dip chiller, and because its white it fits into any decor or event you use it for. The lid is very useful, its hard to find dip chillers that come with lids.
I was pleased with the item purchased and the delivery time, packaging, etc.A good choice!
We frequently pound chicken for our favorite recipes, which is why I was looking for the best meat pounder I could buy.My research led me to an old favorite, "Cook's Illustrated."They rated the Norpro Offset Meat Pounder the best of all the ones they tested.They liked the offset handle design, which relieved some of the tension on one's wrist.
I purchased one of these containers just to try it out when they first appeared on the market.I have used it to take everything (salad, chili, spaghetti, very spicy Thai food, stew, etc.) for lunch. I store my leftovers for lunch, reheat in the microwave and eat. The bowl washes easily and has never left any stains or odors - unlike those "disposables". These items seem a little pricey but they are actually a great value when you consider the amount of use you get out of them.I've been using the same container repeatedly for over a year.
I bought this because the size described would fit my small coffee press for which I broke the carafe.However, when it came, it was a standard size, several inches bigger than what was listed.I kept it as it will become a replacement for my husband's larger french press.
I have used many things for brewing tea and have found that this Mesh Tea Ball is the best.I have used the loose tea spoons, which have a closedmetal design with little holes all around.The problem with those, is thesmaller loose tea pieces escape leaving unpleasant floaties in my drink.Ireally like the mesh design.Loose tea bits do not escape and it is mucheasier to fill.I cannot believe I waitied so long before getting one. Now my tea is free from floaties.This mesh design allows more of the teato be infused by the water....leaving a much more natural and pure taste asopposed to tea bags or metal spoons.Tea bags seem to filter too muchsometimes.....metal spoons almost taste metallic at times.
This is not worth the money. Might as well just buy a regular container. They are better anyway. The lid fits on the container, but it is kind of hard to get on. Next time I know not to buy a product like this.
I really liked this mug.Unfortunately, it fell off the table shortly after I got it and a piece chipped off the lip.So, I guess that would be the downside to the whole ceramic thing. Of course I broke my favorite one!Otherwise, I was very happy with the product.I have two other mugs as well.I have not broken them yet and I am very happy with them.
I bought this expecting a better product after a few washes the upper part began moving away from its original position and during whisking seems to move and does not whisk nearly as good as my original whiskers would not recommend this product
Just had a chance to try out the bacon press tonight for BLT's--it works great!We love our bacon nice and crisp, and this little press does the job great and seems to speed up cooking time (perhaps because the cast iron "holds in the heat" while the bacon fries?).Bacon was crisp and delicious; the press prevents bacon curling and relieves you of the neverending task of flipping bacon over and over and over again when cooked conventionally.This press is a great addition to my kitchen; only gave it 4 stars, simply because it isn't quite as heavy as I would like, although it still performs well.Just make sure you season it before first use (directions in the box---just oil the press, oil a frying pan, then heat both together on VERY low heat for 20 minutes.Allow to cool and wipe excess oil off press).But don't use it with nonstick pans!
I saw these on a program that was show-casing wedding gifts.I usually cook baked potatoes in the microwave and this product promised to cook a potato in 5 minutes.After about 1.5 minutes, the potato did start getting soft..however the prongs aren't long enough to continue to hold it up.I then put the feet on the potato, so that it was resting on it's side.It still would not hold.Potatoes were rolling all over my microwave.It still took 15-20 minutes to cook the potatoes!
I just bought this set of CorningWare and to our dissapointment, the plastic covers were too small for both of the dishes. With a lot of effort - we were able to get one of the lids to fit, but there is no hope with the other one. It's unfortunate, because I thought the lids would come in handy for storing leftovers. Aside from the problem with the plastic lids - Corningware has continued to provide good quality dishware.
For the price, the Progressive Silicone mats work great.They are really flexible and very easy to clean.
It is great if you want to buy 1 product to suit small medium and large sized crusts.You just overlap 4 or 5 of the strips to match your needs.The material is flimsier than I was expecting, a thick aluminum I think, so they do require careful usage and storage.
I didn't even know this existed until I saw it in a specialty store for twice the Amazon price. I was concerned about the metal steamers in my coated pots. This has worked in the smallish 1 1/2 qt saucepan as well as the large 10 1/4 covered saute pan. The loopy handles will fold into the pan but have worked well to lift the steamer, also. I would say be careful because it is flexible. I have loaded it up and had no trouble. There are also plenty of vents for the steam to get to the food. The base is sturdy. I will probably get one or two more as we steam veggies most of the time.
This works wonderfully as long as you slightly move your hand in the opposite direction of the blades rotation.This keeps it from splattering, which isa huge problem if you don't know about this little usage tip.
This thing is wonderful! Holds up to the biggest lid without any problems. Cleans up great - I've even ran it through the dishwasher a few times.
I used this ravioli rolling pin for the first time last weekend and was surprisingly impressed by how easy and time effective this gadget proved to be.This gadget makes small ravioli and allocates the right amount of filling for each ravioli.Any excess filling between the two layers of pasta spills out of the end, making the ravioli filling process almost fool proof.I will defintiely be making a lot of ravioli with this pin!

My friend has the larger size and I loved it.This spinner is quality made, and easier to use than pull string or pump models.I love the collander and see-thru design.This mini size is perfect for someone in an apartment or having limited space.I would have bought the larger size if it had been available.
When it arrived I thought to myself that the filter holes look a bit larger than expected.Upon first use the filter is only good for large particles.Grit and bits of things like floured coatings slipped through.I ended up using a couple layers of cheese cloth instead.

I have yet to use my Pasta Machine Motor. I did test it though with my pasta machine.You have to use it on the Norpro pasta machine because it did not fit my Imperial pasta machine.It has two speedsand you can manual turn it on and off.I think the faster speed can be a little dangerous if you accidently get fingers or whatever in the pasta rollers but I am anxious to use it just haven't had the chance yet and I am sure it will save my arm and shoulder from getting sore. It also was the best price I could find on line.
This was even nicer than I had expected, about 3 inches high at the shoulder and 4 inches across, it is big enough to hold six full heads of garlic.It came through the dishwasher okay and is more pleasant to look at than a clay keeper.
I've owned this type of magnetic strip in the past and knew how useful it can be. Bought two, one for kitchen and one for greenhouse. They are superb. I would have bought the longer size if there was room, but alas, no. The magnets are super strong....strong enough for kitchen shears and all the knives that will fit and the other for gardening hand tools. I'm ordering another one today for the kitchen to hold microplaner, corer, mini whisk, scraper, etc. This little item eliminates digging around for a favorite tool in a drawer or pot. In addition, the wood, maple I believe, is attractive. You can't go wrong with this. Be sure to buy the largest one you can fit in your kitchen or garden shed or garage.
It's getting hard to find a decent spatula at the grocery store, one that has a smooth head for scraping out a bowl, and a nice strong handle.This is it!I own two of these spatulas - one in white, one in blue - and they are fantastic. 
The 3qt casserole is too tall for a small microwave, but I have the 2qt. and gave the 3qt away. These are my favorite microwave cookware.They give no taste to food and are very sturdy.The small bowls are perfect for one-dish meals.They don't stack completely, which a surprising oversight.
This is a basic item with a basic function, keep the twine clean and in order.It does this well and looks great on the counter.
A decade or so ago I toured through Europe and while in Germany I was introduced to Spaetzle.It was love at first bite.I live in a small town in California and spaetzle is not easy to come by.I bought an instant package of spaetzle, and followed the directions (pour contents of box into boiling water...) and it was terrible.Finally I decided to shop around for a Spaetzle maker and the only one I could find cost a fortune and was incredibly big and awkward, I imagined scraping my knuckles off and gave up my dreams of having fresh spaetzle.Imagine my surprise and delight when I found this simple spaetzle maker here on Amazon.com and at such a friendly price.I ordered it right before the holidays and it arrived in time for Christmas dinner.We eat our Christmas feast early in the afternoon and for a light dinner I love to make turkey soup from leftover Christmas turkey.For a twist I decided to add some fresh spaetzle and it was a wonderful success.The maker came with two simple recipes and after a couple attempts, I mastered the spaetzle maker.Since then we eat spaetle often with gravy's, soups, and tons of other dishes.This is a great deal for such a wonderful tool that will inhance you meals.
Sturdy seems well put together.I use it as a saltmill.Seems to do the job. and the price wasn't too bad.
Great item ! Norpro makes very versatile double steamer.It's easy to use and easy to clean.It's big enough to steam large items, Yet can be small enough for lesser amounts.It can be seperated to cook in seperate pots so flavors won't mingle and it saves cooking time.It foldes compactly to take less storage space than larger steamers. So if you already have pots this should be the only steamer youever need.
This is a must for most cooks - especially ones who multi task (young mothers, older people etc.)I feel safe with the timer on a rope around my neck leaving the kitchen as I know I will be reminded of what is cooking.Great gift!!
This is the best micro helper I have ever owned.I purchased a similar Wok many years ago and set it on a hot stove top and oops! I really missed this.I used it as a lid to warm or cook food on a dinner plate.
We've been using the Norpro 8 inch steamer two or two times a week since we received it several months ago.It works very well.It makes steaming vegetables a much more streamlined affair:we cut up the veggies, toss them in the steamer basket, rinse them, then drop the steamer into the pot of water, cover and cook.The handle makes it so easy to move it in and out of the pot and the bonus is that it is SO much easier to clean than the traditional aluminum steamer basket I've used since I was a kid.We live in an ancient house in New Orleans with no dishwasher, so cleaning the little flaps on the aluminum one took as long as washing an entire load of dishes.This steamer is ridiculously easy to clean.
**EDIT:My first review I gave it five stars b/c it worked great for a few weeks.I can't change the stars to one now, so I will just update my review summary. After about a month of use, we discovered the coating must not be that high of quality on the plates. I had major peeling off on the grill plates while making a panini.I contacted Koolatron and they sent replacement plates after I emailed them a copy of my receipt.However the replacement plates peeled again after a couple uses.Then the grand finale, THE MACHINE DIED ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE. Piece of junk.
Lightweight but sturdy.
The wooden handle is quite well-made, and comfortable to grip.The removable silicone head is a good, tight fit, so no worry about it slipping off, until you intend to slip it off to run through the dishwasher.
I took the pan out of its box and immediately noticed that the 7 pancake holes were not straight sided like usual.The holes were very shallow.I held the pan by the handle and turned it over to look at the bottom.The "cast iron" handle snapped off and the pan fell to the floor.Back it goes!
We have a small 3 person office.This item is perfect for it.The one drawback is the small cord that comes with the item and the fact that it is a 3-prong plug so we had to get a 3-prong extension cord, but obviously, that is extremely minor.It is perfect if you want something very small for lunches and the like.
This thing really works and we use ours for more than just pizza.Any bread product can make use of this along with other foods that tend to get soggy when heated in a microwave.
Just like the Extra Life dics, this item also preserves fruits and veggies well.
These are wonderful little bowls for ingredients. I have a pretty small kitchen and don't like a lot of clutter when I cook. The attraction was my preference for natural cooking mediums...I prefer stone, clay, wood, etc. I use these for pre-measured ingredients, mixing eggs, making sauces, etc. They are perfect for people who find themselves pulling cereal bowls out of the cabinet to cook with but probably not for people who don't do a lot of cooking that requires a variety of sized bowls. They are pretty, though, and make great little serving bowls. They look and feel like wood to me...but they are a finished product so they do not have a "rustic" wood charm...but they are not so laminated and refined that they are void of imperfections or completely without the feel of wood. I have never machine washed them, so I don't know how well the finish would hold up without hand washing, but I do use them daily and they are exposed to red chili, tomatoes, and other harsh, staining substances...yet they wash up beautifully and the finish protects them adequately...no stains or splits yet.
Finally, an ice cream scoop that gets the ice cream out of its container AND then out of the scoop into the dish. Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Should be -- but this is the first scoop design I've ever used that managed both with equal ease. Most of the old-fashioned ones had a release mechanism that got the ice cream into the dish pretty well, but needed tons of hot water and the strength of 10 men and a boy to get the goodie out of its native container. More recent versions have made the container-to-scoop process less of a herculean task, but need the assistance of finger or other appendage to make it the rest of the way to the bowl.
I bought this for a candy jar of M&M's at work.This scoop is the perfect size for a serving of candy.
I used these bowls for Easter to hold little snacks.They are pastel and remind us that summer is coming.So, they worked out very well for that and at a reasonable cost.Cookware set is a little pricey, but high quality and durable. Have had no problems cooking with it. Had been searching for something I felt sure would hold up to cooking in the microwave--even boiling water if necessary--and this does the trick. The Tupperware-style storage lids in addition to the polycarbonate cooking lids are a bonus.

I bought two of these tagines--total impulse buy, as we were looking for ways to steam food.They have been an integral part of my kitchen ever since.Spray them with cooking spray, add some fish cut into chunks(we have tried tilapia and salmon thus far), thinly sliced vegetables and spices(I have been experimenting with making my own ras el hanout), put it in the oven at 360, and in 20-25 minutes, dinner is ready!
This replaced a similar Sharp full size microwave - and we love it - so easy to use, we did not have to use the manual to do the basic things we want to do.And - Amazon's delivery was fantastic!
