Silicone Pie Crust Shield Review

This thing was a waste of money. I bought another one (Harold Import Company Mrs. Anderson's 10-Inch Pie Shield) from Amazon and it works great.

The pie crust gets just as overbrowned with these on than with nothing at all. You'd be better off with tin foil.

It is great if you want to buy 1 product to suit small medium and large sized crusts.You just overlap 4 or 5 of the strips to match your needs.The material is flimsier than I was expecting, a thick aluminum I think, so they do require careful usage and storage.
