I purchased one of these containers just to try it out when they first appeared on the market.I have used it to take everything (salad, chili, spaghetti, very spicy Thai food, stew, etc.) for lunch. I store my leftovers for lunch, reheat in the microwave and eat. The bowl washes easily and has never left any stains or odors - unlike those "disposables".
