I slice quite a bit of pineapple and was looking for a helpful tool. This didn't work.The metal blade is too flimsy for the heavy duty job of slicing through pineapple. With quite a bit of pressure and elbow grease, it barely cut through.You have to cut the pineapple manually to almost a perfect "square" before even using the tool, quite a bit of wasted fruit. The core section usually yields core in your final slice and cuts away good fruit.
