Norpro Stainless Steel Towel Holder With Suction Base Review

I like the style and design of this holder, however, the suction mount has not worked for me at all.I am using it on marble, so I thought it would do as well as possible. When I first fasten it (which is very easy to do, by the way) it sticks like mad.About 10 minutes later, it's unstuck.I've tried a few things I have read about on line, various topical treatments, etc. but nothing has done the trick for me.I am still using it and like it just fine, but I am giving it three stars primarily because it doesn't do for me one of the two things it claims to do (holding towels and sticking to the counter top).

Of course, I seldom find suction mounting items that work as well as I wish they would.But that's no excuse.In all honesty, unless the suction is an absolute must have for you, I would still recommend the product.I really wanted it to work, but I am happy enough without it.
