It works great, as well as the original "Miracle Thaw", but better since it sets in a plastic drip tray. We don't recommend filling the tray with water, as it quickly chills and thus slows down the defrosting time. ANOTHER TIP: Leave the meat in it's wrapper if you'll be gone all day, to slow the defrosting, preventing it from sitting out at room temperature too long.
