It was very hard to find a single serving steamer to steam vegetables, this is perfect, bought one for my daughter who lives along in an apartment as well as for myself.Only slight problem is the handles get quite hot so you have to use hotpads to take it off the stove.

Norpro 12 Inch Nonstick Bread Pan Review

I have this pan in both the tin-plated and this no-stick version.I really like these pans.This size works much better for baking quick breads, producing a superior, more even bake and a nicer finished product.For most quick breads, I find I can use 1 1/2 times the recipe getting more baking done for my effort.For yeast breads, this pan size produces a nice smaller, sandwich sized slice that fits in the generic zipper sandwich bags, easily.This pan is easy to clean and releases bread well.I think I slightly prefer the tin-plated version, as it browns just a little bit nicer and is not so easily scratched.(Amazon does not carry it, I wish they did.)On the no-stick version, I turn the heat down a little to try to compensate.I believe this no-stick version would be good for a nice sized meatloaf, as well.These are fairly inexpensive, last a long time with minimal effort and I would buy again.

Norpro 17x12 Stainless Steel Broil and Roast Set Review

Ordered this because it was stainless steel, thinking it would not burn on badly but I was wrong.Have used it only for broiling steak and the first few times could scrub off the splatter, but after that, no matter how or what I scrubbed with it would not come off so I am left with an ugly looking pan and for the money spent, I did not expect this, so my advise is to purchase another product that resists burning on.

Nopro 12 x 9 Stainless Steel Roasting and Broiler Pan Review

I bought this for my toaster oven, keeping my fingers crossed that it'll fit (which it did, perfectly! ). The top plate with holes is more or less a permanent fixture in my oven, as its easier to clean than oven racks, and I use the bottom pan as a baking dish. I like that it's stainless steel,which is supposed to be a safe metal to cook/bake in and yet easy to clean.

I would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the somewhat sharp sides. Otherwise the quality seems to be good. Get it!

Norpro Heavy Duty Tin Potato Ricer Review

I wanted a potato ricer to make hash browns. Previous reviews suggested washing the ricer immediately after use to avoid rusting, but no matter what, this thing rusts! The ricer actually rubs when in use so the mechanism is not smooth and metal on metal abrasion occurs opening surfaces to more rusting!
The thing is hard to separate for thorough washing and the pin holding the two arms together takes a bit to work in and is pretty much rusty after 5 uses.
Because I am using the ricer for hash brown and not mashing, I apply more pressure...and let me tell you, the handles hurt my hands!
I bought a MUCH better ricer from williams sonoma, it is stainless with with much more hand friendly handles.

This is one CHEAP ricer, spend a little more and get a quality stainless one!
