Progressive International Nesting Tongs Review

Several sets were purchased to serve hors d'oeuvres at our son's wedding reception. When we saw how nice they looked and how well the tongs worked, we ordered a couple of more sets in quickly before the date. The green color coordinated well with the vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, etc. We actually received compliments on the tongs! When not in use, they nest together very nicely. The bride took several sets home; and I kept the rest for future use. Loved the tongs, and highly recommend them if you want something other than clear plastic or metal tongs. These were one of our neat "finds" for the wedding reception.

Progressive International 12 Inch Stainless Steel Drip-less Tongs Review

I've owned these for slightly more than two years now and they still get used at least once a week.The way they are put together assures that they drain properly when you set them in the silverware part of your dish rack to dry.I like these so much that I have actually just given away all the other variants I used to have.I can't speak to the dishwasher-ability of these, but they still look and function good-as-new after all the handwashing.Highly useful kitchen basic that was clearly given a lot of design thought so as to be good for years of regular use.

Progressive International 16 Inch Stainless Steel Locking Tongs Review

These tongs lived up to my expectations.They are the proper length when deal within very confined hot areas.The do fit in a standard dishwasher and the locking feature is very easy to use.They do stay closed when in the drawer and certainly worth buying.

Progressive International 9 Inch Stainless Steel Locking Tongs Review

I needed a pair of tongs that wouldn't slip from wet or greasy hands.This product is great.Strong stainless steel with rubber inserts to help with the grip.I have a long pair too - that are perfect for working with outdoor grilling and smoking.These are the shorter ones and are just right for working with stove top cooking and serving.Oxo makes similar ones but I like these slightly better.

Progressive International 12 Inch Polished Stainless Steel Salad Tongs Review

These are a very nice, high quality tongs.I bought them for a gift and I am pleased with the quality.When I was a guest and was using these, I realized they are a little too big and heavy for everyday use. I think I would buy lighter ones or even plastic ones for everday use myself.Very nice product for guests.

Progressive International Extendable Tongs Review

I bought these tongs a couple of years ago specifically for travel after a transatlantic flight.I had dropped my book, water bottle, pillow or whatever and could not bend to retrieve them. I pack the tongs in my purse/carry-on, put them in the seatback pocket, and extend for use when necessary. Of course they work equally well on vehicles such as tour buses or in any similar confined spaces. I would have given them five stars if the ring that one pulls to lock them together would stay in the position I have placed it in.

Norpro Nonstick Stainless Locking Mini Tongs Review

I bought the Non-stick, Non-scratch tongs because I bought a new set of pans.I thought they looked really good and functional.Well after a couple of uses, the pin that holds the paddle to the metal handle and paddle fell off .I tried to secure the pin on several occasions, but it won't hold.I've had these for about 1 month, and have to throw them away.

I am assuming mine were defective, since I haven't seen any negative reviews.From now on, I think I will just buy all metal, and be careful not to scratch the pan.I just want to warn consumers to double check the secure-ness of the pins, because those pins are sharp. (I had throw the salad away, since it was lost in the salad)
