Norpro Silicone Pastry mat Review

I purchased two of these and both came with creases that I can't get out and pie dough still sticks to it; especially butter pastry. The third time that I used one at my son's restaurant, I picked it up off of the counter and the entire right side ripped off. (The day before Thanksgiving and I had about a dozen pies to make!)So I guess I will order something a little thicker and more expensive.

Cleans soooo easy.You just have to be careful not to bend it excessively as it does contain fiberglass.Since receiving this mat, I have begun using a cover specifically meant for all food cooked in the micro to help further keep it clean & keep the micro operating properly.The mat & using the cover (which I'd much rather wash both items rather than the inside of the micro) keeps it simple for us.You'll never catch me using my micro without the mat, that's for sure.Be gentle with it & it will serve you well.
