I having been using this product daily for more than a year.The Pros:This product does a very good job of preventing foods from splattering in your microwave oven, and it is durable.The screen is sufficiently large to cover most bowls and plates.(It is 11" at its widest point, and might be too large to use in smaller microwave ovens that utilize a turntable.)
The Cons:This item is dramatically over-priced; a fair price would have been around $3 or $4.The first time I used this product it warped slightly from the heat it absorbed in the microwave.Happily, this issue has not prevented it from being an effective splatter screen.Cooking any foods containing tomatoes causes this product to temporarily discolor, but those stains will fade with repeated washings.This is basically a rigid piece of plastic with several thousand tiny "breathing" holes in its surface.It is impossible to clean inside those holes, unless you use a toothpick.After each use, I have been soaking the screen in hot soapy water, followed by a thorough rinsing.This is a lot of bother for a stupid splatter screen.
