This is a great product and works well in the Microwave.BUT... please use caution.I got a pretty good burn thismorning.It would have been worse except that I had let theegg sit for 2-3 minutes.I cooked the egg in the microwave 1:15 which is a about right for one egg.It looked good, just about right.Put it between two slices of toast.Half way though the sandwich, it "exploded."Apparently a steam pocket had built up in the yolk, and when I bit into it -- bam.It made enough noise to get my wife's attention across the kitchen.My face still hurts 12 hours later.If it had happened right after cooking, I suspect it would have been much worse.Click Here to see more reviews about: Trudeau Microwave Double Egg Poacher
