I bought two of these in a kitchen speciality store after the staff there raved about it.I was very delighted to find it really, really works!The kitchen store staff had some tips about how to perfect the process:1.) FIRST, put about 1 tsp. of butter in the pot with a small amount of vegies. (Wet vegies, such as tomatoes don't work as well. Green onions and peppers are great choices.)2.) Microwave your butter and vegies for about 30-40 seconds.3.) Break your two eggs in the pot, stir in salt and pepper, and add chesse...microwave for 40-50 seconds.4.) Scrape down sides and microwave again for 40-50 seconds.5.) Wait for 2 minutes to finish cooking - then eat.
The omelets are nice and fluffy and ready in less than 5 minutes.The convenient size of the pot is beneficial to travelers.My son is putting it in his luggage while he Couch Surfs across the U.S.
I found these online for $7.95 and will be buying six or seven to give as future gifts.
