Baker's Rack - Coffee Finish Review

Bakers rack is okay -- not quite as high end and sturdy as it appears to be in the pictures.The paint was scraped off one of the medalions, may have happened in shipping.Dealer shipped quickly, and it came well packaged.Looks pretty good once I touched up the paint and got it decorated, but still not exactly what I was hoping for.

An excellent addition to any kitchen, this coffee brown baker's rack not only puts things in a good location, but it also provides storage for those hard to place items.
The rectangular metal frame provides a rigid construction while incorporating lovely decorative scrolls on either side.
There is a bottom shelf that sits just 6" off the floor measuring 15" deep, 34" wide, and 16" tall as well as a tabletop working surface that is 30" tall, 15.5" deep and 34" wide.
Both of which are finished with a rich mahogany stain.
A wonderful 6 bottle wine rack directly beneath it also enhances the main working surface.
The upper two 8" deep shelves have inlaid clear glass to provide a beautiful display area.
The top shelf also hosts a rack for wine glasses on the bottom side.

Beechwood Kitchen Cart with Wine Rack Review

This is a solid wood kitchen cart which includes a knife box, a drawer, a towel rack, a cutting board, a wine rack shelf that holds 6 bottles, and a metal push handle.I purchased this product in April 2007 ($119/ + $34 s&h & tax) and received it in a relatively timely manner.It was fairly simple to put together, although the instructions were sparse (mostly pictures and hardly any text).Assembled in about 30 min once all parts had been accounted for.The only downfall was that it arrived with a damaged & unusable towel rack.Target sells the product, but the manufacturer is some place in Washington state.I tried to call them, but it was the weekend and they were closed.Notwithstanding that, this kitchen cart has performed well for almost 2 months.It is sturdy (except the chrome push handle is coming loose) and it has been used a lot.Works well as a table or counter extension, a vegetable cutting area (Although it comes with a wooden cutting board, I prefer to use one of those $3 thin plastic cutting sheets over a layer of newspaper -- that seems to hand the mess much better!), wine rack, breakfast bar, serving tray, or even a smoothie preparation station!This item has 4 casters and rolls well on a flat surface (minimal effort to move it over a rug); two casters are lockable.

Finally, the appearance is aesthetically pleasing and its beechwood beige color is sure to match almost any color scheme.I highly recommend this item, but call the company for a refund if yours comes broken like mine did.Also, it might be wise to modify this unit with locking washers for the chrome hardware.
