We got this microwave because it was very highly rated in Consumer Reports. It does a terrific job and looks great in the kitchen. Super powerful at 1200 watts. You have to reduce the power level on some recipes since most microwave cookbooks use 1000 watt machines. The power level button prevents overcooking. The popcorn button is terrific. Highly recommend getting the Sharp Carousel Cookbook that you can order from the back of the instruction book. Only $7, it has terrific recipes. I've made great tasting stuffed mushrooms, excellent nachos and cheesey bacon english muffins. I very happy with this microwave. It was impossible to find in any retail stores.
